The Robert Lynn Horne (RLH) Merit Badge College @ the World Scouting Museum offers a unique opportunity to complete Scout BSA Merit Badges, visit a WORLD CLASS MUSEUM, and meet with a Merit Badge Counselor and Scouting Historian at a scheduled time.

–Merit Badge Classes can be for one Scout, Troop, Crew, or Ship.
–Group discounts for 2 or more Scouts.
–Guardians must also attend to provide TWO DEEP Leadership and must purchase an admission ticket.
–Guardian Admission is $15 for Adults and $10 for Seniors for 1 Scout (Scout Admission $7).
–Guardian Admission is charged at $5 for 2 or more Scouts (Scout Admission $5)
***Merit Badge Colleges for large groups of Scouts will be held periodically on Saturdays throughout the year. We plan to host 3-4 of these a year and hope to offer different Merit Badges each time. If you are interested in volunteering as a Merit Badge Counselor for these events please contact us.***

MERIT BADGE INFORMATION:
–We request that you complete the worksheets for these merit badges before you arrive at the Museum.
–Our Merit Badge Counselors will complete the Blue Cards or update the Scoutbook online as needed for the Merit Badges to be turned in to the unit leader upon completion of the requirements.
–Some requirements cannot be completed at the museum on the day of your visit.
–Please have the Scouts review the requirements before your trip and complete as many on their own as possible.
–If you have questions please call or email the Museum Curator for help.
–Please print the worksheets below and complete as many requirements as possible before arrival.

–Group rates for admission of $5.00 will be given to 2 or more Scouts that attend a Merit Badge College Session. Scouts (2+) and Guardian must pay a $5 Admission fee per person for a Merit Badge College Session.
–The Robert Lynn Horne Merit Badge College is in-person only, we want you to see the Museum along with attending the Merit Badge Sessions. It is worth coming to see what the amazing collection has to offer!
***In the future, we may add a virtual option but it will be a fundraiser and therefore will be more expensive for virtual per-person attendance than in-person attendance.***
***Merit Badge College Sessions can be scheduled for Evenings and Weekends, but you must reach out to the Museum Curator to schedule those directly via phone or email.***
