Visitors to the World Scouting Museum
Museum Location:
Located at 1615 Washington Street East in Charleston, WV 25311.
Take Exit 99 Off I-64/I-77, and drive 0.1-mile south on Greenbrier St.
Turn Right on Washington St E and drive 0.1-mile and Museum is on the left.
Bus parking is also available, but please call us ahead to let us know that we need to park the bus.
We welcome visitors but ask that you call or email for an appointment.
To schedule a tour, call (681) 215-4450 between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or email the curator at WSMWVCurator@gmail.com.
The final tour of the day will be at 4:00 pm. Later tours can be arranged, please call us to arrange them at least 24 hours ahead of time.

Museum Admission Charges:
- $15 for Adults 18+
- $10 for Seniors 60+
- $7 for Youth 6-17
- $5 for Scouts and Scouters in Uniform visiting with their Scouting Unit
Tours can be scheduled outside of normal business hours if prior notification and scheduling are followed.
If you are bringing a group through the area and will not be in town for a tour during normal operating hours please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please allow for a minimum time of 1 hour for a tour, they can go longer depending on your level of interest in Scouting.
Tours are typically guided but we can be flexible if you just notify your tour guide. We are happy to do our best to explain items in the collection that you may have questions about.
